It can sometimes be important for police to check underneath the car without moving it because minute evidence could be lost when something as big as a car moves across the place. Brightly lit car strobe lights will allow the evidence to be examined and photographed as well before moving the car. It will also help in the night examination of the evidence before waiting it to be day.
